Actually, I have another major complaint. When I flew to my father's funeral in MS, I decided to board my lovey 11 yr. old Pommie, Cassie, because she had congestive heart failure and was on meds. I thought the vet would take better care of her than the little girl down the street. How wrong!!!! My last memory of Cassie was as I walked out the door of the vet's office she was bug-eyed with fright. By the next morning, even before I had taken off from the KC airport, she had died. They said she was coughing a lot which is one of the signs of congestive heart failure. Well, she was hardly coughing at all for me. Why didn't they do something to calm her down? Some meds? Why didn't they increase her heart meds? She was on a low dosage. So not only did I have to bury my father, but I had to come home to no Cassie.
