Max doesn't seem to be losing much hair now, but he did shed a lot. I was worried. This is really like having a baby in the house, and being a mum again or the first time.
Max was sick whilst in the car today, and it meant I had to give him a bath even though he'd already had one a few days ago. His skin was a little dry, so I decided to massage pure coconut oil (from the health shop) well into his coat and skin before bathing him. Well, I was really surprised that he seemed to enjoy it, and his skin and coat looks healthy again.
The coconut oil is solid, but turns liquid on contact with the skin, and can be used for a many different things as well as cooking. Now I know the remedy for problem skin. (I don't have shares in pure coconut oil, honestly).
