We bought an x-pen about a month ago and lined it with pee pads and put his bed in there and a few toys. Came home to a mess everyday His waste was everywhere and of course the pee pads were everywhere too! He even had pee marks on his bed! Oh and he HATES the x-pen. Everytime we put him in there he freaks out so we tried putting Lexie in there too so he wouldn't be lonely and it was an even bigger mess. They were barking so loud when I got home you would have thought I was killing them. Our landlord who lives down stairs said they had been like that since I left 3 hours before! Well I just ordered some belly bands from Little Bit so I'm hoping they at least save my sanity Oh and he's 6 months old. I'm not concerned about him being potty trained per se, just want him not to go in his crate! I was wondering if anyone had rescued a puppy mill puppy who had been living in a crate. I thought they might have some insight of how to train them not to go where they sleep even though they are use to it. I'm just glad he didn't have to go to the shelter like the lady's husband was going to do. Sheesh!
