okay I took Shelby in for his 2nd set of shots and when I was there his dry skin issue was adressed. I recently changed his food to DVP potato and duck and the vet gave me(actually bought$$) ResiCORT made by Virbac leave on lotion with hydrocortisone to apply to the skin.(He has flaky dry skin and it looks like lice in his coat...ughhh)only in certain spots though its not all over the coat. She recommended that next time I go to use a sulfur lime dip that is used for mange and scabies because it will make the dry layer come off and will make his skin super soft. The only down side is that it stinks like rotten eggs and it is a leave in. HAS ANYONE HEARD OF DOING THIS??????????????
