One of the ladies in another forum said, it takes 20 minutes for your body to tell your brain you're full, so, if you eat a salad 20 minutes before dinner, you probably won't even eat dinner as you'll be full...

He mentioned the water on the show last night. He said most of the time when we think we are hungry we are really just thirsty and to do what you said - drink water then wait and see if we are still hungry.
