I was taught when i worked at slender U, that if you're hungry, drink a big glass of water, then wait 10 minutes, if you're still hungry, you need to eat, if not, then the wanting food was just a habit...I'm trying it right now, got a little hungry, so, got me a small bowl of corn flakes, I'm putting the spoon down instead of shoveling it in..
One of the ladies in another forum said, it takes 20 minutes for your body to tell your brain you're full, so, if you eat a salad 20 minutes before dinner, you probably won't even eat dinner as you'll be full... |
