Franklin was exactly the same way. We've just been taking him out and around other dogs as much as possible and encouraging him. He is starting to do much, much better! He used to just sit by my legs and back up when ANY dogs came near him. Now he usually will sniff them and walk around with them. He was wonderful at our Yorkie meetup!
Just be patient, it'll get better. It just takes time for them to open up. |
