I am SO sorry! My Papaw was diagnosed with severe lung cancer at 57...but he went into remission after a year of treatment! Sadly, due to the pathetic local hospital we lost him 2 years ago to a series of small heartattacks that occured while he was under medical supervision; he was only 60. Just cherish all of the time that you have with her now, even if its just simple phone calls to say "I love you". I know I wish that I had done that more with my Papaw. Its just so hard to see someone you adore so much be in such pain.
Don't let what the doctors say bother you too much, they don't know as much as they'd like you to think! Just be praying
