Hi I too am a new yorkie owner as well as new to this group. But I have had a few dogs in my life; I find the best way to teach them about bitting is to bite em back, no kidding a firm loud NO in a deep voice works with mine. he still goes to chew but stops as soon as I say no. Always use one word if you chose No cool, but stop will work just as well. stay with it it will work. Mine is only 9 weeks old and I have him 2 weeks. Now the potty training is a different story..................HELP.
