I have see crate after crate of baby chicks that die from the dye used to color them just to make money at Easter. Some of the dye they use is poisonious to the anmials they use it on and that is why the law was made. Do we do away with the law so a woman can dye her dog pink for a good cause when she could have put a really cute pink outfit on her and accomplished the same thing. Or do we back the law that makes it a crime to dye chicks and rabbits and see them slowly die from the poison in a dye used to color them. That is the real delimna. |
I agree wholeheartedly with you!
I see nothing wrong with dying dogs with safe dyes for fun, but that's just looking at the little picture.
I rather see
no one dye their pets if it means it will save the lives of all the other poor animals like rabbits and chicks who die from this.
I agree that there are bigger animal abusers who should be persecuted before this woman is, but there are different processes. This woman knew the law, and ignored it after multiple warnings, she walks her dog around so there are witnesses. The process to persecute her is easier.
