For me it isn't a question of whether the dog should be dyed really, of course no harm came to the dog and it WAS for a good cause. The real issue here is that if she is allowed to do it then how do they stop the chick and rabbits from being dyed. I have see crate after crate of baby chicks that die from the dye used to color them just to make money at Easter. Some of the dye they use is poisonious to the anmials they use it on and that is why the law was made. Do we do away with the law so a woman can dye her dog pink for a good cause when she could have put a really cute pink outfit on her and accomplished the same thing. Or do we back the law that makes it a crime to dye chicks and rabbits and see them slowly die from the poison in a dye used to color them. That is the real delimna.
