I have a friend who does my hair, she has a salon out of her home. She has a maltese and everytime I go over there he's a different color. Last time he was pink for Valentines Day. I'm sure by now he's green for St. Patricks Day. I've seen him with red and white stripes like a candy cane, red, white and blue for Independance Day, etc. She uses food color so there's no worry of any harm coming to him. She keeps him in a puppy cut so it grows out fairly quickly. Sometimes I look at him (especially when HE was pink) and think "you poor baby" but he doesn't have a clue and it brings a smile to everyones faces. (By the way, did you know that Paul Mitchell has a line of dog products (shampoos, conditioners, etc)?) She sells it out of her salon.
