I picked Corky up from a groomer in San Diego that told me I had to leave him from 9 am till 2 pm (like an idiot I believed them and didn't realize that I could stay with him while he is being groomed, but anyway...) when we got into my car poor Corky saw a water bottle in the cup holder and tapped it with his nose (his way of saying "I'm thirsty mommy") and so I grabbed a cup and poured him some water. He drank and drank and drank and drank
. He almost never takes more than a sip or two of water when he is thirsty...well you get the idea.
So I went back into the groomers and said "how much water do you give the dogs while they are here? "Oh, we don't give them water". Can you imagine? Those nasty people obviously think it is better to dehydrate our babies rather than deal with a little urine!
