I had kinda figured about $500 for the cardiologist . As far as getting another puppy from the same sire but different dam: I do not plan on breeding any of these dogs so I am willing to take a chance that the others will not have this problem. My vet said that usually it is only one out of the litter when it happens. Of course, if this shows up again I will ask for a refund and return the dog. i can't afford the money nor heartache for more sick puppies.
