I know this might not be correct, but it worked for us. We have a 4 month old fur-girl and she was running from us outside. When I caught her I would tell her no and put her in her crate for 1 or 2 minutes. After a while when she would start to run and I said no she would turn around and come back. When she came back, I would give her a treat. Now when she's done with her business I just say "Good girl Jersee, lets go get a treat" and she follows me right in the house.
