Almost everything I read about grooming says that a dog should never be brush dry. That water or a moisturizing spray should be used.

My first question is this: If you use a moisturizing spray before brushing your pup, what kind do you use? I'm looking for one that doesn't leave a residue and smells good.

My second question is this: What types of brushes does everyone use.
