Is it bruising or possibly a burn? I'm asking because I took Tia to Petsmart (NJ) and noticed the next day while brushing her that she had this weird red circle. A few days later it was scabbing. I took her to the vet wondering "my god could she have contacted a parasite or something." The vet said it was a burn. I thought about it and remember that when she was on the table they leave the blow dryer in a stand blowing on the dog. I think it was hot and it stayed on one spot too long. Funny thing is that I took her to Petsmart because I was able to pay an extra $10 and stay with her until she was done. They did her start to finish and they have a big window to watch. Hubby and I will not leave our Yorkies with a groomer. We are really afraid after some of the horror stories. Now I won't even take them to Petsmart. I do them myself. My not be perfect but better then them getting hurt or worse. Elaine |
