I think it's fantastic when the breeder teaches them to use pee pads, as a lot of people work, and aren't able to go home and let the dog out to go to the bathroom. I feel it's much easier to train them to go outside after they're used to pee pads, rather than the other way around...I ended up rehoming a beautiful beiwer that I got at 5 1/2 mos. that I couldn't train to use the pee pad...as someone else mentioned, start moving the pee pad closer to the door, or just get him in the habit of going out with the other dogs.. |
