I would give her a crate to go into, her own little den, where she can watch what is going on but still feel safe. She will venture out on her own to investigate when she feels more comfortable.
Cesar Milan says not to make a big issue of them being afraid or it will reinforce that behavior. Just put her in her own little space and play with her when she is feeling more secure.
Eight weeks is pretty young so you will have to act as her mother teaching her how to play without being too rough, and other proper dog etiquette. |
