Could he have a blockage? He could have eaten something while you weren't looking (we can't watch them all of the time). I'm no expert, but JMO based on what you're reporting. I'm probably too much of a worrier, but if you have an emergency vet, you might want to go ahead and take him. Good luck. Hope I'm wrong and it's nothing serious.
