 An unlikely friend
First let me say I am afraid of large dogs and have held some prejudices against them. My Neighbors have a german sheppard that is kept outside all the time. He gets very little attention. He is very mean and acts like he would attack anyone who comes near his fence. His yard is right by where My Husband parks his an so one morning My Husband started saying his name and eventually the dog let him pet him. I started doing the same thing baby talking to him and he would just look at me and not bark like he didnt know what to think. The other he let me pet him. Today I gave him a soup bone. I never thought would get the nerve to pet a big dog |
