And I don't agree with the saying that if they can't afford the price of a puppy then they can't afford the care.. I don't have the cash to pay upfront (and with the price of yorkies going up  ).. But I have atleast 5 credit cards that are used for emergency vet care or something along the lines of an emergency for my dogs...
So I guess from the "been there, done that" ordeal.. If I was a breeder, I would take payments as long as it took the new owner to pay.. If that meant it took 4-5 months, fine.. If thats what it takes for a good home.. |
I agree with you on this one...a lot of people can't come up with the initail $1200 on up, but, do have moneyt to pay for shots, dog food, etc..and give lots of love, and to me the love is the most important thing..as far as the vet bills if something were to come up, they would probably put it on a charge card, or make payments to the vets
