I can't believe I'm posting these pics. But, I too went through the same problem. It is HARD lesson to learn.
1st pic - here's Baileys first groom - she was shaved due to puppy mats. I said I wanted her ears to flop - so this is what I got (YIKES - I cried - and I'm not a cryer) I never went back to that groomer.
2nd pic is her modified cut from the first fiasco
3rd pic is her current puppy cut
(at least I can laugh about it now
