I like being able to make payments.. but thats why I also like finding a breeder with a puppy thats under a week old that I like the parents from.. That way I have 10-12 weeks to come up with it..
And I don't agree with the saying that if they can't afford the price of a puppy then they can't afford the care.. I don't have the cash to pay upfront (and with the price of yorkies going up
).. But I have atleast 5 credit cards that are used for emergency vet care or something along the lines of an emergency for my dogs...
So I guess from the "been there, done that" ordeal.. If I was a breeder, I would take payments as long as it took the new owner to pay.. If that meant it took 4-5 months, fine.. If thats what it takes for a good home..
