How old is she?
I think posessive behavior is normal, to some extent, but if you let it continue, you could end up with an aggressive yorkie. You need to let her know YOU are the leader, and that you will take care of her, not the other way around. If someone comes in, and she starts acting out, make her sit and stay. Only when she is calm, she will be allowed to come and meet the new person. The best thing for the new person to do is to ignore her at first. Allow her to sniff the person and check them out-DON'T let the new person look at her, talk to her, or give her any kind of attention. Once your yorkie has checked things out and is calmer, then she can be rewarded with attention for good behavior.
