My Logan was 6 months when his ears started to come up. I didn't tape them or shave them, I thought they were cute down. Now they stand up all the time, but when he's tired they droop. I've heard you can give cottage cheese & that will help them stand.
As far as I know they don't crop yorkies ears & i don't think you'll ever find a vet willing to do it at this age. We had a great dane that had it's ears croped when it was a baby & they cut them too short & they laid flat against her head. I just say be patience & they might come up all on their own.
