Well, their leap in generosity toward animal welfare certainly has a direct correlation following 1) cruelty to their animals, 2) a drop in their sales and public outcry and 3) a major
PR campaign to foster goodwill and re-brand themselves. Brilliant! I have no problem with any of that except #1 - and hopefully that is a costly lesson they won't repeat.
Good for them for donating money, bc they owe it, imo, to the animals upon whose backs they built their fortunes, and got dirty bc of it. That doesn't mean they've earned my purchasing power back, nor does it change my opinion of their ingredients.
That's really all I have to say about this - because I don't want to get into one the circular arguments that this kind of thing attracts for some people.
