Yes I have a different contract for a pet.

I agree that it would be best if all puppies could be spayed/neutered before being placed but many vets don't want to do it before a puppy is 6 months old. Then they do decidious puppy teeth too--instead of putting them under twice. Most breeders can't keep a litter of 5 or 6 until they are 6 months old. And most buyers want their puppies before 3 months of age. Mine don't leave until they are 12 weeks old. I hold onto registerations until I get spay/neuter certificates. Buyer also signs that he understands puppy is pet only and if I don't receive certificate the puppy can be reclaimed by me....
