Thanks for the responses so far. The vet tech told me “she’s well loved, but she is severely neglected when it comes to grooming.” My jaw hit the floor and I burst into tears as soon as I got in the car. Are you kidding me? The word neglected was way too much – she has no CLUE what goes on in my home. Do you know how much time I put into my baby – grooming, playing, etc.? And then I looked down at my groggy, helpless little baby and it ticked me off even more. Can you tell I’m still mad.
