I have a spay/neuter contract and is on limited registration and do NOT release AKC papers until I have proof of spay/neuter letter from vet and I can also check online with AKC to see if the pups were registered with AKC. I am up front and honest with those that contact me and I develop a relationship with those that adopt my babies, otherwise they wouldn't be getting one. In the future all my pups will leave my house spayed or neutered! No exceptions!
