I had a weimaraner before and he was the best dog ever, he was very smart and beautiful too. He was great with our cat but.. I didn't had yorkies before so I don't know.
good luck with you search... oh by the way he is a good guard dog... our lab wasn't ... too friendly ...they let the burglar in...
but all dogs have different personality and I think depends on the training too.
yorkies are the best tho.
