Weekend before last I was with my friend out of town and she had to run into a store. She took her 4 year old in with her but the 2 year old was sleeping so I stayed with her. I got out of the car to stretch my legs and saw these two couples talking. Then they went to separate vehicles after getting some stuff out of one of the trunks. As one couple was getting settled in their vehicle I saw a jacket laying on the ground behind it. I hollered to the guy that the jacket was on the ground and asked if it was theirs. Turns out it had fallen out of the trunk with other stuff they were getting out. Then I ran over there, picked it up and took it to the window just as he was struggling to get out of the car. He was so grateful that I had seen it before he had run over it.
THEN when my friend got back to the car she told me how her and her daughter had stopped in a coffee place after their other errand and some nice lady in front of them in line had paid for a milk that her daughter was holding. Didn't even tell her she was doing it so my friend didn't get to thank her. I thought that was weird that I had done a good deed while someone was doing her one.
I try to do things like that for people because I surely need some good karma! What goes around comes around!
