Hi I have my vets home phone number and he has even taken one of my dogs home with him. I would advise you to get more than one, vet home and office number. They are suppose to be on call for emergencies.I have three vet numbers in my personal emergency phone book. She will probably deliver alright except usually the first time they don't know quiet what to do. That is what happenned to Princess and she is nearly 3 years old, but never had puppies.9 months is quiet a bit young. I never let mine breed till the second heat, which is about 14 to 15 months, even as long as two years.Best thing is to get your vets home phone number and always be prepared for the worst. She will probably be fine. 6 lbs is a good weight for breeding. Just relax and do your home work. You will need heating pad , dental floss, sissors.Old towels, they can be washed. I tried newspapers with Princess and she didn't like them. Be sure you feed puppy food to the mommy while she is pregnant and till puppies are weaned. I prefer hills science diet puppy. It has special stuff"dna" for the milk .
