I just had to share this with everyone
yesterday, I went to visit my great dane. He is 7 years old now and I know he only has a couple of years left so I wanted to be sure to see him as much as possible. anyway...Here are pics of my baby.
He's sure a big boy now
he is 42 inches at the shoulders and 214 lbs!!!!!!!!!! nope...not a typo
he is a tad overweight, but when he is fit, he averages about 200 lbs. He is so tall that I can't even straddle him LOL While we were visiting, we had 9 different people pull over their cars and oooooh and ahhhh over him. It really is wonderful to see such a big dog. and he is simply the MOST gentle dog I have ever known. I let maggie get out of the car and see him for a bit while she was going potty and he was so sweet with her. I wish I could have taken pics of that but it was raining and I just couldn't do it all at once
