I agree with what everybody else is basically saying -
You have to drive the message home. No pun intended.
The old film teaching aids and reenactments are comic fodder now.
Kids today don't get enough REAL life. On the contrary, they think 'reality TV' is real!
All the suggestions that introduce real events, real emotion, real devastation is the only things these kids today can relate to.
Though we would like to shield our children from anything that upsets them and keeps them innocent, this action only serves to make them vulnerable to that from which we are attempting to prevent.
And then there are the things we SHOULD purposely expose them to. As previous witnesses have testified, some trauma early in life is beneficial.
