If it were me, I'd watch and see what the urine looks like for the rest of the day. Watch his water intake..is he drinking more, less, or normal? Is he urinating more frequently, less frequently, or normal? If the dark spots continue, I'd get him checked out for a UTI. If it is blood, he could have crystals or stones. I suggest a blood panel as well to rule out any major problems as well.

A lot of times when they've been at the groomer for the day, they don't get anything to drink. They are nervous, panting, and usually have dryers put on them. He's most likely just dehydrated
