Everyone's situation is different and I'm sure you will get many points of view
. Lucy has slept with Thomas and me since day one with no problems and Lucy is 3.5 lbs. at 1 year. Believe me, she lets us know if we get too close to her in the middle of the night.
I would say consistency is best though so in my opinion I would have her one or the other, not switching back and forth. JMO.
