Have you asked the surgeon or the vets there about their thoughts on a brace? I would be scared to have a little fragile one at home too -- so glad Val has helped you out with a pattern.

I am so sorry that the roads are bad, you're right this winter has been horrid - but I really think we are near the end...Will there be a possibility to get her tomorrow? And if it's still bad tomorrow, will you have to wait until Monday?

hugs &prayers for you
I questioned the vet again extensively this morning and they insist that she doesn't need any kind of brace. I made one anyway and I will see what I think when I get her.

I don't have to pick her up today. I hope the roads are better tomorrow. If I wait 'til tomorrow my son will go with me. If I can't go tomorrow, I can pick her up anytime. They told me they are open 24/7, 365 days a year. As well as being a specialty vet hospital(with all kinds of specialists) it is a 24 hour emergency vet.
