I think I might be repeating this but I found my yorkie for $400.00 in the newspaper. I tried my best at being patient for a doggy to find the right price (one I could afford). I ended up buying my puppy from a breeder that advertised in the newspaper. They have girl puppies for $500.00, as well. I think that's a really good price compared to other breeders. She explained to me that she did it as a hobby and she's charging what she would want to pay for a puppy. She also sends them home paper trained, on dry food only (she has them on wet food and slowly takes it away from them before she hands him over to you), and she also shaves their ears for you so the ears would stick up. Such a great lady.

All in all, I'm sure you can find a pretty good price on a puppy if you kind of just search around a bit. The right one will come along!
