They are stretch pony tail holders that are real small that can be found in the baby department of any store. There is no rubber band in them and they do not break the hair. They are like chinelle (sp) and they are great. Most of the time I only have to put his top knot up once a day, if he doesn't take a silly spell and rub his head on everything.
