My Husband is always there to help out. How big is your female? If she is 4lbs or under I would advise you to seek a vet . Make sure she will be able to deliver naturally.I haven't had any problems yet. Princess was scared of her puppies at first but by the time the third pup was born she was more calm and accepted them. I had two grandbabies born in the same month my pups where born. It was a busy month.I have had three litters born so far and i'm a nervous wreck every time. The last litter started at 12am and we where up all night and the first litter basicly the same. The second litter was in the afternoon and i wish they all where.Read up on whelping and get ready for whatever might happen. Make sure the puppy gets its face clear of the sac and starts breathing.I'm not an expert, so i'd rather not give advice, but their is plenty of good info on the computer and probably more people on yorkie talk that can better tell you than me. I read a lot and watched animal planet also. I have a good friend that worked for my vet for 20 years and i always call her when i'm in doubt.Sometimes i skip her and call my vet at home . Don't hesitate to call the vet when you are in doubt about something.Good luck on your new baby and your new puppies.I would advice newspaper while she is whelping and let the pups suck between each birth to help continue the labor. Sucking makes her have contractions. Its not always easy getting them on a tit. Just have to keep working at it . I get the milk to come out and put the pup up against it. takes a little effort but eventually the pup will take hold. I love to see them get that first milk. Get all the advice you can and Good Luck.Looking forward to seeing your new family.
