I got the carecredit card for some dental work that I had to have done and you can put vet bills on there too. There is free financing depending on the amount you put on the card. If it is 300 then you get 3 months interest free and for 1000 you get 12 months free. (I think that is the amounts, not certain though.) But, it is an easy way to pay off bills and you cant charge anything but medical bills on it. I think that it would be a good alternative to pet insurance.
