Good the babes are nursing now,I suppose mom was put on something for infection just in case. You never know what happens sometimes and will never have an explanation for things that go wrong. That could be a good reason as to why things did not go right as a early seperation!.
In the 7 years we bred bigger dogs I never had a problem with birthing but with these toy breeds anything and everything can arise.Another reason for those who want to start breeding to know and research as much as they can you can never know enough!!
