Yes, that would be the case for BUZZARDS. Hawks will scoop up and kill living animals though - rabbits, cats, small dogs. My problem is I really can't tell them apart..... no matter how many times my husband tries to describe them to me. So if I see a big black thing circling around our property, Tatum goes inside. If it's a buzzard, oh well..... took the safe route.
