Well, wow!
This is just plain and simply NOT your fault. What happens to the other people simply isn't your problem (I know that sounds cold, but come ON!)
The breeder should have made sure this didn't happen. I really don't think the burden should be on YOU for her mistake.
Hopefully she'll have learned her lesson and will keep something identifying on the puppies from now on.
I'd be interested to see how the other breeders here on Yorkie Talk would handle this situation.
