| Hello,, i'm in Texas and our vet does Laser Surgery,, i've had 2 females spayed there,, my Cricket who was maybe 3 pounds and well over a year old when she had her spay surgery,, I opted for the Laser Surgery,, and it was miraculous!!! her surgery took place around 10 am,, they called me all the time,, telling me how things were going,, about every hour,, and around 2 pm when they felt it safe for me to come get her,, i did,, brought her home,, put her in the playpen with her bed and puppy pads and food and water and toys,, all her comfy things,, so she wouldnt hurt herself,, SHOOT!! she only had a TINY PINK mark on her little belly,, looked like a pink magic marker on her,, and pale pink at that,, there were a few tiny stitches,, you could hardly see,, (which she removed the very first night),, but she was fine,, SCARING me half to death for days, ,playing ,, jumping as if nothing had happened after the morning following her surgery,, our Daisy on the other hand recently was spayed ,, at the same vets,, but i didnt opt for the laser as she is a big girl and should be fine with normal surgery,, i tell ya,, i was wishing i'd gone ahead with the Laser for her too,, it was amazing the difference in their recovery time,,and the look of the incision initially,, my opinion, ,if you can,, GO LASER!!! |
