I tought my guy OK.

What I did is when he comes in from going outside I first make him sit. Then I wipe his feet. Then I ensure he is sitting again and tell him to stay. I then moved away slowly and if he moved I would put him back, make him sit and tell him stay. Then after a bit I would tell him OK and he would then move.

It took me a week but he now knows that OK means go do what you want. I use it to give him permission to leave his bed when he asks and other things.

I think OK is fine to use as he's only really listening out for the word when he's in the stay situation.
