I had to laugh though, b/c a week or so ago, I thought I'd train Max the "SIT" command, using treats. He picked it up so FAST....but now, he sees the treats, and he sits immediately before I even say it, LOL. I'm not sure exactly where I lost control of the situation , but I think HE's the one who trained ME, hehe. They're very smart!
HA HA! That's what my Tucker does! And he will check you out to see if you have a treat in your hand before he decides if it's worth it to sit or not. And he's only 6 months old, the little stinker!
