Unfortunately, any of the terriers can be "mean" without being taught. The very personality trait that we love in them, when carried even a bit to the extreme, is vicious. I have seen many smaller dogs who have earned their nickname "ankle-biters"..
We have to guard our Yorkie babies as if they were our own human baby..they are vulnerable and they don't know their size so they won't back down,,, that macho thing, I think..LOL |
