My Venus was like that, very sloooowwwww growing coat, but OMG the texture and color to die for and now at 3 years old it is nice and thick and grows like crazy! I love her coat now! LOL She also hated the ring, she only walked in the ring because she did not want to leave my side...lol. We did 6 shows and she became more and more unhappy with each show, so I pulled her. Her and Quaker's daughter on the other hand...omg...she anticipates that lead going around her neck and the she is just ready to fly!
